this cafe serves several buildings on a technology company’s campus, with a tea house as the central focus. i worked with my team to design two types of booths as well as produced renderings and diagrams for presentations to the client. two types of zones intertwine, shelter and sky. the shelter zones are enclosed with saturated finishes while the sky zones are open to deck and utilize light and bright finishes. the circulation is separated from seating areas by changes in floor finish and by customized furniture pieces that bring greenery into the space. each zone encourages relaxation and rejuvenation
